In the freshmen health class that I am in now we use white boards for helping review information for test. How we use the white board is by asking the students a question and they answer the question on their white boards. This gives the students the opportunities to answer with out having to answer out loud. The students seem to enjoy this activity a lot.

This idea intrigues me...I am a bit leary of it only because of the expense and mess. Do you have problems with either? Do you find that the quiter kids tend to respond better using this strategy? Who purchased the white boards? Do you wait for all of the kids to participate? I see so many neat benefits and applications of this strategy. I may use it someday. Thanks for sharing!
